30 Day Snap: Day 30 | Safari Trip and The End Is Here

I had a lovely day at West Midland's Safari Park in the gorgeous sunshine! We had giraffes and camels sticking their heads in the car and we fed animals and had a rhino get so so close to our car," it brushed against it! It was so cool!
We had so many giggles which only my family would understand and it was just great!

Can you believe the 30 Day Snap is over? I can't, it's gone so quickly! I've found it difficult at some times to find something to blog about but I've found myself going out more just to create a great blog post! It will be great to look back at this in a few months time and see what I was up to!

Has anyone else taken part? I'd love to see people's links!

GFC is now gone so I urge you to follow me on bloglovin (link to the left) and we can connect, I'd love to find new blogs!

Hope you've enjoyed reading my 30 Day Snap as much as I have enjoyed writing it!

I have a post queued so that will be out soon!

See you later blog friends! X

30 Day Snap: Day 29 | First Night Out

Terrible photo - there was obviously bad lighting. But I had a great night having drinks with my friends to celebrate a friend's birthday! I hate having to leave early though :(
Tomorrow should be a good picture as I'm off to 'West Midlands Safari Park' to celebrate my little sister's 7th birthday!

30 Day Snap: Day 28 | Wimbledon and a Milestone

I enjoyed a lovely Thai Red Curry with my grandma while watching Andy Murray win at Wimbledon this afternoon!

And today is a Year and 11 Months of being in a relationship with my lovely boyfriend! I can't believe it's been nearly 2 years!

Today was my first induction day at Sainsbury's! I think it went well and I can't wait to start earning money for university!

30 Day Snap: Day 26 | Peace and Quiet After School Hours

School seems quite eery once the children have left. Lovely and peaceful though. Children definitely breath live into a building, it's what makes a school a school and gives it personality.
It's only a building without the children.

Just an insight into my little observations at work. :)

30 Day Snap: Day 25 | Things to come and Conversations that make time fly!

Highlighter: 'Sunbeam' | Blush: 'Head over Heels' | Lipstick: 'Ohh La La'

My Topshop order arrived this morning, squeee! (Plus a top not photographed here), I can't wait to give reviews on these products, I've used them once this morning and am impressed for a first go!
I spent hours on Skype last night and it was one of those conversations where you finally look at the clock and 3 hours have passed and you realise you should probably go to sleep! (Especially when you fall asleep mid-type!!)
Off to work I go, hope you're all having a nice day. x

30 Day Snap: Day 24 | Bittersweet.

Cosy eh?

I've made some 'up in the air' plans with a friend I've known for years and haven't seen in a while and was really looking forward to it until it caused unwanted tension with another person.
Bleh.
Tonight is one of those nights where I need a cuddle buddy, a mug of tea and a good film. Any offers? x

30 Day Snap: Day 23 | Church Summer Gala!

This picture doesn't represent the gala, but does show me sitting in my seat for the service (not very interesting I know!)
Unfortunately it poured down with rain so we had to have all our stalls inside! But all the same I had a tiring, yet nice afternoon with friends and family.
Ready for a glass of wine and a sit down now, off to my aunty and uncles to see all my family!
See you tomorrow!

30 Day Snap: Day 22 | A Lovely, Yet Blustery Afternoon

Today may have had a stressful start, missing a train by 1 second is the worst and got me extremely frustrated! With £4 down the drain, I caught a lift to visit Jack and had a really lovely afternoon. I love chilled out days watching episodes of TV series, a trip to town and even playing a little basketball! (Oh how sporty of me!)

I had such a lovely day and I can't wait for similar days over the summer. I'm totally smitten. :3

30 Day Snap: Day 21 | Floods, Stress and Taking on Many Roles

Hello everyone!

Today was HECTIC day! It was my first full day at work and I was really looking forward to it. Everything was running smoothly until around 11am when we found a leak in one of the ceilings in a cupboard. We called a man out and he unblocked the drains on the roof... Which then released a mass of rain water in through the ceiling and throughout the office, many classrooms and the main hall. I can't even describe how manic it was!
We had to soak up the water, evacuate children, dish out hot meals at lunch time to dry classrooms and all sorts so I took only many additional roles to my 'clerical assistant' one!

Hope your day was much calmer than mine!
See you tommorrow x

30 Day Snap: Day 20 | My Poor Bank Account

I took a goosey gander a the Topshop website and noticed a sale, I couldn't resist buying something! The scallop edged vest was reduced from £15 to £7 so I thought it was a must for when we hopefully get some sun!
The rest of my order was makeup I've been wanting to try for quite a while, I thought I'd make up my order to £30 to get the free UK delivery!

All of these items will definitely feature in future blog posts with my own photos and not crappy website photos plus complete reviews!

In other news: I applied for a job at Sainsbury's a few weeks ago, had the interview but got a reply saying I wasn't experienced enough. Fair enough. I managed to get a 4 week job doing office work in my local school working with my aunty who is the head secretary and general manager. So I took as many hours as I could because I enjoy it and I'm grateful for the experience and money.
I completed my second day today only to get home to have received an email from Sainsbury's now offerin me the job because the person they wanted doesn't want to accept the position!
I think the phrase is "you wait for a bus and two come along at once"! Going to be working 6 days a week for the next 4 weeks and then down to 3 days a week! Busy busy!

The money will be worth it, that's all I'm thinking off, I need to build up my savings for university!

See you tomorrow! xx

30 Day Snap: Day 19 | Starting a new job and receiving parcels!

Hello! Two photos today you lucky bunch!

Today has been a really good day! I started working at my temporary job and I enjoyed it so much!

I bought this Slendertone from Amazon months and months ago and only used it a few times before forgetting about it and from then on it sat in my wardrobe collecting dust! So far, in the last 2/3 years I've lost over 2 stone and I now weigh a more suitable weight for my age and height! Now it's time to get fit and tone up!
I have a very healthy diet anyway and I love eating clean because junk food makes me feel rough and groggy so I tend to eat as clean as possible! But now I have finished sixth form and I only have my job I have so much more time to get outside and exercise my bum off! I love the feeling of the machine tensing my abs (I hope that isn't weird) and I've seen many positive reviews. I'll use this every day for 20 minutes and in a few week shall write a full blog post (maybe with photos...) of how I have found the experience!

Secondly is a jumper I bought from eBay a few weeks ago that arrived today! It only cost £7.20 and is a copy of the Wildfox jumper which I fell in love with but couldn't simply part with over £200 for one jumper!
I like this, the only downfalls are that the material/thread used is quite 'rough and scratchy' and there is woven 'glitter  thread' wound into the jumper which I'm not a huge fan of. BUT, for £7.20 I'm really not complaining, the service was very good and I will wear it lots of times I'm sure.

Long post today (yay or nay?), I think I got a bit carried away!

See you tomorrow! x

30 Day Snap: Day 18 | Celebrate!

Hellooooo!

Guess who passed their driving test first time today! YEAHHHHH!

I was SO SO SO nervous (Just see my last post) and I made a few silly mistakes but that was only due to nerves but that doesn't even matter because I passed!

I celebrated by going for 'end of sixth form' cocktails with my friends, YUM!

Oh and welcome to my summer of blogging! There's so much I can't wait to write about and share with you all!

30 Day Snap: Day 17 | Reminiscing (Exams are over!!)

HELLO! Yes, an enthusiastic hello today, I'm happy!

I can't believe this picture was taken almost 2 years ago.. well I can, just look how young I look!

I never thought that by the age of 18, I'd be in a 2 year (and counting) long relationship and be so happy! Before Jack, I was a little school girl who had a lot of issues and couldn't get anywhere in the world. I was a completely different person. Jack brings out the best (and sometimes worst) in me ad I do with him. We annoy the hell out of each other sometimes and we've gone through SO much together, but despite all that, I love him to bits and I would still be that sad little girl today. Aw.

One of the reasons this post is getting quite long is because I'm writing to try and suppress my nerves. I can't really say why (if it doesn't work out that would be awks) but in my new post, if things go well, that will definitely be my photo for the day!

See you tomorrow!

30 Day Snap: Day 16 | Fatherly Love

Hello everyone and Happy Father's Day to all you Daddy's out there!

I thought I'd share with you the card I bought for my step-dad who has been like the dad I never had. I'd be nowhere without him.

Obviously this card is a joke (I really hope you'd guessed that or I'm worried) as we always laugh at my lack of money due to purchasing too much makeup/clothes!

I love my step-dad to bits.
Don't forget to hug your dad/step dad/ grandad/uncle/other male member of your family today and let then know just hope much you care!

30 Day Snap: Day 15 | Tattoo Thoughts

Yes this is a controversial topic.
No, anyone else's opinion will not affect mine.
Just so we're all clear! :)

This symbol has particular personal meaning to someone special and I and I always swore I would get this tattoo when old enough no matter what. Now I'm not one to break promises so this will be one of things I will be saving up to buy/get done.

I can't wait.

30 Day Snap: Day 12 | Bright Lips

Hey!

I have so many bright lipsticks that I've only ever tried on the comfort on my home and never ventured out in, so today I did just that!

I think I'll be doing this a lot more, especially when I can finally start going out this summer! Definitely need a coral lipstick though - any suggestions would be appreciated!

30 Day Snap: Day 11 | Looking to the Summer

Hello!
So I finally have a little break (only 6 days) before my next exams which are both on the same day. Boo.
I've been thinking about my summer plans and how I am going to afford to travel up to see my boyfriend in Leeds or us going away somewhere. I'm hoping that I get the job I have applied for but in preparation for university I've bought a '16-25' rail card.

The horrifically bad quality photo for the card
It will save me 1/3 of all my train journey's for a year which is so brilliant! The card (for one year) cost me £30 and with only one return journey up to Leeds I will save £20 which is almost the cost of the card in one trip!
It's such a great investment to me and I can't wait to start saving money!

See you tomorrow. :)

30 Day Snap: Day 10 | Keep Calm and Carry On

Hello!

So I sat my ridiculously hard Psychology re-sit today and I think it went SO much better than last time so I'm super pleased!

Im finally half way through my exams with only one week left to go! (Yippee!)

Got another exam tomorrow and I'm definitely feeling the pressure of last minute revision, so I'm just trying to stay as calm as possible.

My Mum knows I enjoy my tea so she thought she'd pick me up something a little different to try rather than my regular PG Tips!
Yummy!

See you tomorrow! x

30 Day Snap: Day 9 | Brain Overload

Hey!
Sorry this post is a day late! I was so tired last night that I simply didn't get chance to write this!

So for my Psychology re-sit I need to know 30 theories and 280 accompanying studies. No chance of knowing every single one inside-out! But I shall try my best!

I'm feeling a little better after yesterday, something happened and it made me realise I need to stop being so selfish and concentrate on others' more. I usually do, but exams has made me change to being a little selfish and that changes starting now!

See you!

30 Day Snap: Day 8 | Questioning Life

Hello everyone.

A nice sunny sky.

So today I've spent the entire day revising and questioning what I want to do with certain aspects of my life. Obviously, I know what I want to do as a career and I have my pathway all figured out but I'm just questioning a few other thins that are really important on a personal level.

I keep changing my mind and can't agree on one thing. It's really starting to upset me and frustrate me both at the same time and as you can gather, I'm feeling really down about it all and can't stop crying. Which isn't great as I'm sitting exams at the minute.

Maybe I should take a break from talking to people for a few days and re-evaluate what I want in my life. Or maybe I should talk to someone. I really don't know. I don;'t want anyone else's opinion to affect me but at the same time, I'd like a certain person to confide in.

Hopefully I'll make the right choice and hopefully it will be soon. I haven't felt this bad for a while.

Sorry this has been such a bad post. I kinda needed to get some of it off my chest.

See you tomorrow. x

Hey everyone!
Took this picture in my grandma's garden this afternoon when I was sunbathing/revising.

I'm currently watching "The Notebook" and crying my lil' heart out, I'm glad no one can see me, but at the same time, I really want a cuddle right now. Today has been pretty crap.

30 Day Snap: Day #5 | Pre-Exam Relax

Bounjour mes amis! (Hoping my french GCSE has helped me correctly write that intro)

Today's photo is a very simple one and was taken a few weeks ago but I'm pretty much sat in the same position now so why not re-use the photo!

I've just been for a long hot shower to relax and calm me the night before possibly the most important exam of the 6 I am sitting. (Yikes!) As it isn't until tomorrow afternoon, I'm not going to stay up late trying to memorise every single poem or every tiny detail of my core text, I'd simply be setting myself up for failure.

I'm going to have a calm evening and do some last minute work tomorrow. I'm such a stress head at the minute and I'm taking out on the people I love, the lack of sleep and constantly feeling sick doesn't help though, I seriously hate exams and anxiety. :(
But, English Literature is just one of those exams that you can't physically "revise" for like your traditional subjects, for example Biology, it's just not like that. There is some knowledge involved (but only of key quotes, devices, etc) but it's mainly all skill based. I've done so many practices and been getting very good results compared to where I was at last year and I only need a low C tomorrow to get a B in my A level overall, so for that reason, I'm fairly calm. But, it's not all plain sailing and I do still need to try my hardest tomorrow and hopefully I will reaps the reward that should come with the incredible amount of effort I have put in over the past year. I guess it is looking fairly positive. I'll just keep thinking on the bright side.

Wish me luck in my 2.5 hours exam (Ugh!), but hopefully it will have all been worth it.

See you tomorrow!

30 Day Snap: Day #4 | Sunshine Revision

Good afternoon :)

Smart-Casual outfit - or "smasual" as I like to call it
So today consisted of an early driving lesson, an hour to nip off for an interview and then an afternoon in the sun trying to revise with a hyperactive cocker spaniel pup!

Sunshine revision and trying to get a tan
So that was my day! See you tomorrow!

30 Day Snap: Day #3 | Trying To Stay Positive

Hello people!
So today I took my first exam of the summer series and I think it went quite well (touch wood) so it's given me the little boost I needed to help me carry on working my bum off to ace these exams.
I also have a couple of other exciting things in the works that I wish I could tell someone about because I'm rather excited! But tomorrow is one of the days that I can aid my case in the thing that I want to do. Yeah, that was SO ambiguous, I'm sorry. If things work out, I will definitely be blogging about it!

Today's photo is rather boring as you can tell, but revision and organising has literally been my life today. But, the first of six exams is checked off, only 5 more to go and then I can enjoy my summer of fun, sun and blogging.

See you tomorrow!

30 Day Snap: #1 | New Hair, New Me and #2 | Healthy Breakfast

Bonjour blog friends! (wow, such a weird intro)

Despite having an exam tomorrow, and I am working at my hardest I promise, I've decided to take a quick break to write this post.

If anyone knows Louise from Sprinkle of Glitter (I'm kidding - who doesn't?!) then you'll have seen her advertising her "30 Day Snap Challenge" which is when you take a photo and blog about it every day for the month of June and I thought this was a lovely idea and would be nice to look at in a few months time and reminice.

So, I did take a picture on June 1st but simply had no time to post and write a little bit about it so I shall include it with today's photo!

Day #1

A new hair colour for a new month - no this wasn't planned (I'm not that sad), it was a happy coincidence. I really like having dark hair again!

Day #2

My beautiful, tasty breakfast: Low fat Greek yoghurt, raspberries, blueberries, granola and a drizzle of honey. Is it strange that I actually look forward to eating this healthy treat every morning? If so.. super awkward...

Anyway, there you go, my first two days! Please go and check out Louise's post here if you havent already and I shall see you tomorrow, hopefully feeling great as my exam will have gone well. (Here's hoping!)

See you tomorrow! x
